Holidaymaps Lda was created on the Portuguese Atlantic Island of Madeira in 2000 to provide visitors with up-to-date, easy-to-read maps, featuring hotels, restaurants, museums and other places of interest. Finding buildings is simple. The letter and number of the square in the grid is all you need to locate the place you're looking for.

The range of free maps includes: Funchal City, The Old Town (Zona Velha), Caniço and Porto Santo Island. The Restaurant & Nightlife Map is available free for all tour operators. Many provide their own customised Funchal city map in their clients' welcome pack.

The Holidaymaps system allows for quick and easy personalisation of the Funchal, Caniço or Porto Santo maps for hotels and tour operators.

By the end of 2010, we will have distributed our 2 millionth map. A conservative estimate says they've been seen by 16 million tourists! (Not to mention A4 versions easily downloaded and printed from this website).
